• Use the default user name admin and password admin for first setup.

• Select Interface Setup

• Click on Internet. Select Virtual Circuit as PVC0

• Select VPI : 0 & VCI : 35

• ATM Qos as UBR

• In encapsulation select ISP as PPPoE/PPPoA

• In PPPoE/PPPoA type your Username  password as given by BSNL, select encapsulation as PPPoE LLC,Bridge Interface : Deactivated

• Select Connection : Always On

• Get IP address : Dynamic , NAT : Enable, Default Route : Yes, TCP MTU OPtion : 1500 bytes

• Dynamic Route : RIP2-B, Direction : Both, Multicast : Disable

• Click on Save

• Click on Maintenance > SysRestart > select Current Setting, Click on Restart

Please note that the wireless security is most important to prevent any unauthorized access to/through your modem although LAN connectivity is used

How to configure Configure Wi-Fi security ?

• Click on Interface Setup

• Select Wireless

• Select authentication type as eg WEP-64 Bits

• Enter exactly 5 characters or 10 hexadecimal digits ("0-9", "A-F") preceded by 0x in Key#1(eg.0xa1b2c3a4a5)

Keep other values as it is & click on Save

You can also use MAC address Filter......

In wireless MAC adress filter select Active as Activated & by giving the mac address of you own m/c.

Click on Maintenance > SysRestart > select Current Setting, Click on Restart
