Connect ADSL Modem to your PC through Ethernet/USB
Configure TCP/IP setting of the LAN card/USB
IP addres : 192.168.1.10
Mask :255.255.255.0
Default gateway : 192.168.1.1 (for LAN Connectivity)
: 192.168.1.2 (for USB connectivity)
Open the browser and type the url http://192.168.1.1 (if connected thro LAN) OR http://192.168.1.2 (if connected thro USB)
A new dialog box appears prompting you to input the user name and password required to access the Web-based configuration manager.
Use the default user name admin and password admin for first setup.
Click on WAN under Home Tab...
Select ATM interface : PVC-0
VPI :0 & VCI : 35 & Virtual Circuit : Enable
select Wan settings as PPPoE/PPPoA
Type your Username & password given by BSNL
Connection Type : PPPoE LLC, MRU :1492, Authentication :PAP
Obtain DNS Automatically : Enable
Default Route : Enable, NAT : Enable, IGMP : Disable
Click on Apply.
Click on Tools > Misc > Save & Reboot
